This was just as impressive as his 73 home run season. He wasn't being pitched to most of the season. Most of the other walks were basically intentional too. As soon as he got a decent pitch, it was usually a hit or HR. It was like playing SNES Ken Griffey Jr baseball on easy. Dude was in video game the last part of his career.

That's what I came in here to post. Even seeing those numbers doesn't do that season justice. You couldn't even do that in The Show.

'99-00 Pedro was silly too.

'99: 23-4, 2.07 ERA, 313 K's in 213.1 IP with just 37 BBs and 9 HRs. 9 HRs in the middle of the Steroid Era, in the American League :heh:

'00: 18-6, 1.74 ERA, 284 K's in 217 IP with 32 BBs.

Just unreal stuff.
