The fukk? Sinbad was never a coke head and its never been confirmed by anyone. He was what they considered a clean comedian and back in the late 80s and early 90s when Def Comedy Jam was poppin off he just wasn't what they were lookin for or trying to capitalize off of back then. I think his stand up Brain Damaged is classic but even still he wasnt anywhere close to Eddie as far as movies and stand ups.

Money Talks, yes

Life, nah just a supporting role but still

I can only picture him in the small role that Heavy D had in Life. None of the other roles I could see Sinbad in. But Sinbad was never on the level of Eddie and never would have got there no matter what habit he had. He was decent but Eddie is a legend. Eddies first few years in movies can compete with any comedians as far as legacy. And if Sinbad had a habit it was one of the greatest coverups ever. Cause this is the first time I have ever heard a think about him being on coke.

Sinbad was legit funny but it was tough for him to get too much work because he had a very specific comedy style. He was built to entertain the mas and the grandmas in a sense that was always kind of his niche, but no he would tell you himself, he was not at Eddie Murphy's level, especially in the 80's and early 90's. After the 2 Michael J's and Prince, Eddie Murphy was arguably #4 after those dudes and was top 10 celebrity black white or otherwise. He wasn't just funny dude had the it factor, personality, great material, and good looks (no homo, but you gotta appeal to chicks too, because who do you go to the movies with most of the time). Sinbad, never really had those things though I think he is underrated. Also lol at Sinbads coke habit he didn't have none, he saw what that shyt did to Richard Pryor.

Sinbad sucked and was only remotely funny on Different World.
