I had Street Struck in mind. That's why I said he was a punchline rapper for the most part. I'm wondering what the fukk L was doing between '95 and '99 tho. Both L and Biggie should have way more material out.

I'm a huge Big L fan. I actually had Lifestylez on cassette before L died. I used to fiend for L verses. I bought McGruff's album to hear an L verse.
That being said, Biggie by a huge margin.

I'm obviously going with biggie off the strength of ready to die but Big L was an amazing rapper on his own right. From a technical standpoint he was like the new york version of eminem with the way he placed a huge emphasis on rhyme schemes and syllable placement.
