What's an SL1 though?
Discontinued but you can still find folks selling them really cheap. You can use your turntables with this like yout controller once you have one.

I charge 80 an hour generally. I have a weekly going on right now

That's dope. At the moment I'm in research mode. Hitting different clubs and bars and paying attention to what the DJ is doing, sometimes kick it with the DJ and talk for a while if he's not too busy.
One of the guys I saw DJing at one of my favourite bars told me he makes 350£ a night which is not bad at all. He told me he does it all mostly digitally, which is why I chose to rock with an MP3 controller for the time being.
I have no clue how things are in the UK, I hope i can get over there sooner or later.

Its cool over here. But I been out of the game for a while. I haven't really gone out much to clubs and bars in the last 4 years or so, so like I said, I'm doing research.
I think maybe by the end of July I might be ready to try getting in again...
