I finished it tonight too.
This needed to be trimmed by at least four episodes. Besides the story meandering all season long, the other major issue is the split of good actors vs. terrible ones.
Obviously, Juliette and Bernard were properly cast. Meadows was good as were Rick (the guy who Common promised to wipe his memory), Solo, Lukas, Billings and Jorah. Knox was alright; most everybody else was brutal. Felt like they picked up people at a local Whole Foods and gave them a script to read.
Too many scenes would have one strong actor and a weak one. Common having so much screen time really dragged the whole thing down. His speech was utterly laughable.
Against my better judgment and how I typically handle shows, I'm probably gonna watch season three or at least start it. The overall story still intrigues me but they need better direction, casting and an editor to tighten this whole thing up.
