Silo(Apple TV+) Season 2 11.15

I let the season run and didn’t watch it weekly. just started watching it the other day

I’m on episode 5 and it’s been mid so far - I feel like they fumbled the momentum/hopes I had for this

That was some mid. Last episode was decent but by that point I had to slog through a whole season with bad pacing, not particularly great writing, and uninteresting characters going through the tamest “rebellion” that somehow the show thought I was supposed to feel a sense of urgency and jeopardy about. So by the time the credits rolled in the season finale I just didn’t care.

Rebecca Ferguson was good as always, but by her being placed elsewhere she couldn’t carry this shyt like she did in the first season and the rest of the cast just can’t kept up, unfortunately. Whoever said in this thread that getting through Common’s scenes was painful, was right - and I feel like he got progressively worse.

This was not good. I hope they find their feet again next season

I finished it tonight too.

This needed to be trimmed by at least four episodes. Besides the story meandering all season long, the other major issue is the split of good actors vs. terrible ones.

Obviously, Juliette and Bernard were properly cast. Meadows was good as were Rick (the guy who Common promised to wipe his memory), Solo, Lukas, Billings and Jorah. Knox was alright; most everybody else was brutal. Felt like they picked up people at a local Whole Foods and gave them a script to read.

Too many scenes would have one strong actor and a weak one. Common having so much screen time really dragged the whole thing down. His speech was utterly laughable.

Against my better judgment and how I typically handle shows, I'm probably gonna watch season three or at least start it. The overall story still intrigues me but they need better direction, casting and an editor to tighten this whole thing up.

My dog Solo He was a kid when the revolt happened and his pops got smoked in front of him. He might've been crazy, but he was stuck as a kid mentally.

I agree that the sseason was slow tho. I stopped and came back to it. Picked up the second half though
