I used to live at my dad's place in the suburbs, and I'd mow the lawn for him. The lawn mower is pretty heavy, you need to pull the chain a few times to get it to start. You need to the weight of the lawn mower when moving across barriers and different patches of grass. Lift it back up in the shed. shyt, even raking all the grass that didn't go in the bag requires muscle (if you want to do a good job).

Gotcha, but a woman doesn't build muscle or strength like a man. Just because a woman can turn and push a lawn mower doesn't make her manly. Hell women can carry and push babies around bigger than that. Why does being physically strong equate to not being feminine? Or being capable of knowing how to do something? If your girlfriend had a flat tire, you wouldn't expect her to wait on the side of the road for you to get off work so you can change it for her, would you? These are just skills competent adults need to know how to do. I think my biggest turn off would be someone who refuses to do something because they think someone else should do it for them. You're limiting yourself and putting your ideals into a very inaccurate box of what women are really like. I have friends who mow their lawns when they need to because they are gardeners and take pride in it. The first person who taught me how to change a tire was a female therapist in high heels and a skirt. Her father told her this is something you NEED to know how to do.

I show my bf I respect him by doing things for him. I love that he recognizes little things I do so I take head. Like on Weds he gets off late at 9. I might swing over to his place and cook, and run him his bath EXTRA hot so by time he gets there it'll be perfect temp. Im gone and the PS3 is already on, with the controller on the bed ready to go. He can have a good meal. hot bath and play his game because on Thurs he has to get up at 7.

This is a post every man in this thread needs to read. Women become nurturing and submissive towards who they see as real men. This is where the respect comes in.

Nope. No sisters and all my homegirls cheat on their bfs and or dont respect them. I tried to tell them that its wrong but thats one thing me and my friends dont have in common theyre all mean as hell to their bfs and im like if you dont love or repsect that nikka why even be with him? im not a cheater id just leave. my friends age group is 21-24. im actually the youngest

If your girl sees you as a real man she will be nurturing and do things for you, but you should play it safe and: Act like you don't associate it with submissiveness, which for some women damaged by Western civilization, carries a negative connotation (for us carries a positive connotation).

Although that was never a problem for me. My ex used to about her submissiveness; say "you're the man. You decide."

Now if the question how to know if your girl respects you as a man or head of house hold that would be different. There are plenty of sluts that will cook, clean and be obedient, and there are plenty of college degree 40 hours plus a week working women that are the same way.
