the man is on death row for killing 2 guys that were molesting him. he may not be a complete angel, (he committed to armed robberies prior to killing those guys) BUT his case wasn't handled properly by the prosecution (they knowingly withheld evidence of him being molested in his murder trial where he was facing a death sentence. his first murder trial sentencing and even charges were lessened when it was found out that the man he killed molested him) which led to him having an unfair trial leading to his death sentence.
