I’m wondering if the learning curve for mastering moves is difficult/frustrating

@Gizmo_Duck you played the last game they made (absolver)…how “comparable” is the fighting in that game to something like ‘sleeping dogs’ or what are the differences?

*edit*

I’m googling looking for sleeping dogs vs absolver comparisons and came across a thread discussing how much sifu looks like a mashup of absolver and sleeping dogs…so that seems kind of promising

Sleeping dogs is easier to get into and more rock paper scissors. Certain attacks break guards etc. And switching outfits would switch your fighting style but they all had strong attacks, weak, kicks and takedowns/guard breaks

Absolver had legit styles of martial arts like Jeet kune do, drunken fist, muay Thai etc. That you could mix and match into sets and create something kinda unique. It has its learning curve but nothing steep there were also weapons like iron gloves and swords

Yeah, also absolver was more PVP focused (not sure if they added more story stuff later) so its hard to tell how Sifu will differ

Absolver is far more complicated as a fighting game because the importance of creating proper fighting decks. Absolver is a legitimate competitive fighting game.
