I made it to him at 21 and he still stretched me out til I was in my 60s…no dame

I just need practice tho…even tho I’ve beat him, I’ve only faced him a few times

there was a time I thought plant guy was hard and I couldn’t beat him til I was in my 70s

I just need more practice with my timing

His first form for me is easy, its his second form with the sweep that keeps fukking me up. Not only that but I dont have my staff for long in the second round

ya the 2nd round is much tougher…I think I was 29 once when I took him to the 2nd round then the slow torture began lol

cheesy video game move to make him “tougher”…it happens every time you are close to beating him…save up/preserve your “pressure point” moves for that point…hopefully you have 2 full bars worth on deck for when he does that…this is what I dislike about boss levels in “difficult” games…it’s not a fun challenge…you basically have to conform to how they want you to beat the boss…which is boring when you have a full range of attacks at your disposal…as much as I love playing level 1, the most boring part is the boss fight even tho he’s easy bcuz the fight is so mechanical

Nah, bosses changing tactics isn't cheesy. It's one thing if they just tank and armor throw all your shyt tho. Good boss fights almost always inclusive of changing gears on you.

I know u gotta buy it 5 times. but does that apply to if I start a new game. do I get the upgrades still if I unlock it on the other game save?

Once you've unlocked it, you can always build into it until it's fully purchased. However, if you quit a run, it won't save your experience progress. Only if you truly die does it do that and carry over to another run.

im actually okay with it

if the game notices you don't block or punish certain moves, you will get a large serving of it on repeat til you adjust
