I just can’t get into rougelikes no matter how fun they are I always put them down. Just can’t make myself keep playing through the same content over and over again.
This looks kinda like that.
I wanna play cause we get very few quality beat-em-ups. But I know I’ll get bored if it plays out like I think it does.

Yeah, he explicitly states repetition is inherently intentional in its design.
Difficulty being verified. Is this praise due to its difficulty seemingly verified or due to the game getting some shyt thrown on it due to such?
yeah he pulled no punches and made it clear this game is not for the average gamer and went into great detail explaining why…I’ll still give it a try when this hits $19.99 just to at least experience the combat

the only one that was designed masterfully to the point that I didn’t get that frustrating feeling like I was wasting my time was ‘returnal’…even tho I didn’t complete it, I absolutely got my money’s worth playing that game and never once felt like I was just running head first into the same wall

The hand throwing even at the simple base is and the sound of impact.
The reviews had me when they mentioned Soul or Sekiro
As for me, a game like this being too easy can take it from a 9 to a 7 for me really quick.
As much as I loved GOT if I didn't play it on the hardest difficulty it wouldn't have been hardly as enjoyable
