Though I like the song (I listen to the Starlito/Don Trip version), I agree with some of the posts in here, not the OP though. My takeaway is there is so much music that promotes hurtful and dishonest behavior (mostly to women), and this is just more of it, promote being a damaged emotionally numb person who can't have healthy relationships. Let young women think they are "savages" by manipulating men, and having casual sex. It's all bad, honestly. Women are entitled to their side of it though. The song, not so subtly just reverses the common trope of women being needy with powerful men who dismiss them. Like I said, fair. But, let's move beyond, and into actual honest music.

Last thought, ironically, I think Rihanna is exactly like that, ("savage" by her definition") and there are many women who are, like the wake you up at 8:00 AM like "I need to go to work" lol, yet I think many more women listen to the song, but act the opposite. Sort of the emotional relationship version of fake dope boy raps.
