Tighten up the script, and leave the Del Toro character out, and this could be incredible. Del Toro was entirely unbelievable as a chracter, but Del Toro sold it well. The director of Gomorah has the eye for realism and everyday life that ALL these cartel movies miss.

Edit: after trailer....looks visually incredible and perfect for subject matter, script and story seem used as excuse for mindless action.

This whole concept of cartel violence through the eyes of an action man superhero like Del Toro is the central flaw of the first movie....it's absurd and insulting.
