With no water?
this movie used the music terribly too
the music worked in the first one because it was only used to get you ready and tense for the action that was about to pop off like the border crossing
this one just played the music randomly like when people were sitting down talking

Really not about the director, its that the writer struck gold with the first and gave up towards the end of the film. Everything was good till the crossing the border part. They made Gilick a bit of a moron there...speaking, the ending was way too self serving, which ruined the parts leading up to it. They made Gilick calculating, precise, and elite. I mean he snuck into the mansion of a cartel boss and ended his entire family. The writer clearly wanted a moment of weakness for Alejandro, but he went about it the wrong way. Alejandro doesn't get caught, he's a ghost with a heart of gold...
The ending would've been cool if it had absolutely nothing to do with the final act....and if the final act was changed in general. Solid 6/10 for me. The action is there, the characters are present, but the story became wasteful toward the end.

After watching it again, its was a let down. Maybe i hyped it up too much... just feel cheated
finally caught this...this was damned good...not as good as the first joint...but it went hard
