HBO's production completely shyts on Showtimes...they also have da voice of gawd aka Mike Buffer...

That said in terms of commentators I like Showtimes crew a lot more than HBO's...A lot of this has to due with Jim Lampley and his agenda commentating...He unfortunately dominates the broadcast with his bullshyt stanning...The Showtime crew has no dikkriders and they are very knowledgeable...

Back when HBO had George Foreman, it was awesome. He'd always be calling out Larry Merchant on his nonsense.

Plus, there's this:

the real hiphop.
Showtime

Mauro's aight, I dont like him too much but Im not mad at his commentary. Bernstein's my favorite, always keeps it real and comes with good analysis. Paulie's cool. Brian Kenny is good with the pre-talk, a shame he's really just around when its a PPV.

HBO

I can't stand Lampley when its a PPV because he gets over the top with his agenda, he's aight I guess otherwise. Kellerman's a fukking idiot and says stupid shyt, the most annoying thing is he's knowledgable but HBO feeds him their agenda. RJJ is good, he keeps it real; "He's not gettin up, Jim!". fukk Merchant's faggit ass, Im glad he's gone. Andre Ward is boring as fukk and add nothing of value. Stewart was aight, he kept saying some weird shyt at times; for example he'd constantly say something like "_INSERT BOXERS NAME_ is fight a perfect fight so far, he's really implementing his fight plan right now" 30 seconds into the 1st round. :why:

Overall I like SHO's lineup of fighters better right now....but always have preferred HBO's production value and commentators in a landslide vs. Showtime.

I know a lot of people don't like HBO's announcers...for whatever reason they are some of my favorite commentators in sports.
Plus I grew up on HBO...not Showtime.

Doesn't matter to me either way, just give me good fights.

But I've always enjoyed HBO's presentation and production better, but I'm not handing out any Emmy's for Lighting and Sound, so...:manny:

I don't think anyone knew how to call a fight like Stewart and Lampley. I hated Larry Merchant with all my heart but his dry humor and know-it-all persona was a good foil to Stewart, who actually knew what the fukk he was talking about. I like Paulie over there on showtime, but that's about it. I DESPISE that arrogant prick Max Kellerman; plus, he has an annoying voice.
