When they got rid of this unfunny broad from The Wayans Brothers.
...and replaced her with Dee
mos def. Traded her, White Mike & the fake island dude for Dee, T.C. & Dupree. SAVED THE SHOW
It's crazy how many changes Wayans Bros went through before it found its groove. Changes to the cast, the sets (Pops' Diner looked completely different at first), even how they wrote the characters. Shawn was much more of a schemer at first and they changed him to be more responsible with a higher moral code, and while Marlon stayed mostly the same, it felt like he got a bigger role as the show went on whereas Shawn was more or less the main character for much of the first season. They also got rid of Craig’s girlfriend & Leelah Rachon.
Legends of Tomorrow got soooooooooooo much better when they got rid of Hawkman and Hawkgirl.

It definitely felt like they were constantly reiterating on the the show and figuring how what worked while not being afraid to change things. It was better in the long run, though it makes rewatching the series a trip.
