I plan on getting braids soon, how long do you keep yours in and what do you put on your braids and scalp to keep your hair clean and moisturized?

I keep mine in about 2 1/2 months i keep my scalp from getting dry by pouring baby oil over the top of my head.it works better than braid spray.

Edit: and to keep them clean i just wash it like usual.

You can say that only if you have the correct head size to pull it off. the most i can do is the starter fro, like the ones when you cut off the permed hair ... i cant do your style.
