I don't think max b wrote Ballin. I always thought the claims that Jim stole his swag came from how prominent max b was on hustler's pome.

Jim doesn't create, he takes. He got everything he has from Max B, Stack Bundles, Camron and even Mel Matrix and Chrissy. She was doing reality TV and selling p*ssy to put food on his table for much of the 2010s. Meanwhile, Jim Jones was posing on the gram in his wife's corsets and constantly showing off his chicken legs.

The only reason Jim got semi-semi-relevant in hip hop again is because he was crying like a bitch on Hot 97 before the pandemic and that got memed everywhere.

They made a Library of a Legend for Stack Bundles. It didn't get much attention. I think a big reason is the bad cover art choices. First of all, unlike the Max B LOAL they gave each volume of Stack a different cover. Secondly, those covers look tacky and cheap.
I don't know why they didn't just get in touch with the artist who did Max B's. He did a lot of mixtape covers between the 2000s and 2010s. There's several others like him out there.
