No, but civics should be emphasized more in high school than currently is.

I really don't recall learning anything about the US political system or how it worked when I was in school. Granted, I went to Detroit Public Schools, but still...

Absolutely not. Our voter turnout is awful and this just adds another hurdle. Even if you can easily pass the civics test, that's another step you need to take before voting. I'm a fan of things that make it easier to vote.
