I could immediately tell that was a legit injury, but seemed fine after the commercial break, of course, that could've been adrenaline more than anything
All it takes is one hot angle to save Bray. Crowds were hot as fukk for him when it seemed like he was turning face before he got hurt. Using a heel's win/loss record on house shows means absolutely nothing, since heels almost always lose on house shows even if they always win on TV.
I was about to come in here and saying this. I thought the angle with him being this "face from the opposite sides of the tracks." It gave him a unique spin to his character. That sequence where Bray did his finisher and then he pointed to the other tag team opponent for Roman to spear him was pretty damn cool in that match. People popped like hell when Bray turned as a face.
Who knows, maybe the reason why his character isn't going anywhere is because maybe his character is a face deep down.
That's kind of been his problem even in the NXT days. People want to cheer him. He's a heel because he does bad stuff, but he's a face because he's an agent of chaos whose ultimate goal is to bring down the system. The same system that the crowds are sick of and have been for years. He has a big anti-hero run in him, which has been teased multiple times, but WWE won't pull the trigger because they always end up needing that heel who can bounce up and down the card at any given time.

Except Bray always loses big matches so your point makes zero sense. Bray is done , he can't win the big one.All it takes is one hot angle to save Bray. What do you do with Rowan (and Harper if he gets drafted to Smackdown once he comes back) if Bray turns?
