I'd love to see Max Payne 1 redone with the engines/graphics of Max Payne 3, using Lake's mug again for ultimate authenticity.

As nice as the new physics was in 3, Rockstar made no effort to keep up or create any sort of funny easter egg or ambiance through the gunplay chaos that was rife and made Max Payne 1,2 funny and memorable. I get the setting was different and Max was a broken man, moving away from New York and all that jazz and spiraling further into loathing and addiction and all that, but come the fukk on, man, shyt could have done with a bit of dark humor that made the first 2 so special.

The destructive stages and music were nice enough, but couldn't hide the barebones fighting system and sluggish movement that meant to be more 'realistic' but had you moving like a neanderthal to throw haymakers and then cause Earthquakes by rewinding an invisible turntable, like who the fukk greenlit this shyt?

Toss in a few grapples with some unique strikes for each character and I think It would do pretty well in today's rap climate.
