naaaah. Maybe when WCW was dying but he was never over like that. He coulda been in the mix but there where too many other contenders that were bigger deals. Hogan, Sting, Lex, Page, Hall, Nash, then Goldberg emerged. It happened the way it was supposed to.

No. But they should have linked the Flock with Crow Sting. Their characters fit perfectly and the flock was cool enough to go toes with the NWO. Then the inevitable heel turn by Raven on Sting gives the title back to hogan and you have a bomb ass feud between Sting and Raven for a minute.

There's no way on God's green earth that Hoegan in 1998, with full creative control over his character, was ever going to enter a feud with Raven in the first place.

This was the problem with wcw.

Thank tha lawd Goldberg.
Wcw missed hordes of times to move the needle and use the title to do it.

If not for mail order Mr toy or bischoff being such a fraud.

Wcw should have never lost Amy ground. Especially considering the roster. Plus all the disgruntled flair shyt.

That should in a real bookers mind created a high quality product.

I remember when WCW Revenge dropped, the 4 guys on the box were Hogan, Nash, Goldberg, and Raven. He was as over as anyone in the company at the time, and had a whole ass squad of goons that could have helped him win a title without it being a clean victory. Should WCW have given him a run, even if it was a short one? Perry Saturn was a dope ass enforcer too, he could and should have been the Arn to Raven's Flair. Honestly, I think that Raven ending Goldberg's streak with help from Saturn and maybe Kanyon would have given WCW a new top heel, as much as I love Nash he never should have been the guy to end it, and was as over as a face damn near as much as Goldberg was. Goldberg as the face chasing super heel Raven, with Nash and the wolfpack as tweeners fighting both, absolutely could have worked and drawn money. It'd save us the fingerpoke of doom as well, and if you aligned Bret, DDP, and maybe the horsemen or a couple younger dudes like Rey or Kidman with Goldberg, maybe Bret never gets fukked up by Goldberg and can keep wrestling, eventually winning the title himself. Keep the NWO b&w around as another heel crew, or shoot them all into the sun for all I care, but I think that this would have worked significantly better, and for much longer, than what we ended up getting.

I've said it before but I felt like as the nWo was aggressively whipping the wrestlers of WCW's ass everyweek that Raven's Flock who were neutral to the "WCW vs nWo" war should have became a big factor to run back the nWo to allow WCW to regroup.

Raven could have won the WCW Title from Hoegan with cheating on some "fight fire with fire cause we ain't bytch made like WCW" type steez only for Hoegan to win it back 2 months later or something like that.

97 Raven? 98 Raven? He wasn't popping like that. At all. 98 Eddie sounded more over. Jericho/Malenko led to a huge pop when the mask came off...Raven got that US title but they weren't doing nothing.
