I used to play a lot of Medal of honour allied assault and counter strike back in the days on a flabby n sick pc and that shyt was dope to me..

What we got on PC these days thats like those two games? Been watching some ARMA videos and it looks good apart from the strict rules on the shyt...

pc has no jrpgs, lacks fighting games outside of street fighter and generally just has better looking third party titles. If you are not into mobas or mmos then I don't see the necessity for a high end pc. thats just me

That's two genres from many dude (although it has a few JRPGs).

PC has the best shooter on the market (CS:Go), a shyt ton of Western RPGs, great free-to-play games and Steam, which takes a gigantic dump all over the PS/MS stores in terms of price, selection, interface and everything fukking else.

I mean I'm a huge JRPG guy as well, but lets not act like JRPGs haven't gone to shyt recently. But yeah if you are only interested in JRPGs and fighters then fine, but lets not act like PC gaming is garbage or anything.

I know there's not a lot of JRPG's on PC, but him bringing that up is just funny to me. aren't most JRPG's on handhelds these days? and that's kinda the problem with consoles: if you really want to play JRPG's, you need to own both handhelds and both Japanese consoles

Yeah JRPGs are a handheld thing - Japanese gaming in general is a handheld thing - but there are still more on consoles than on the PC. Its definitely a problem genre for PC gamers, although not a huge one because the quality of JRPGs has gone down. Only Persona and Pokemon (not exactly a JRPG) are on the top of their game in the genre right now.

If you had to choose one platform, then PC is the way to go, mainly thanks to Steam. Thing is you'll miss on a handful of great games every year - Bloodborne for example.
