Lashley probably doesn't need the bread. Looks like he has/had a few ventures out there to keep him busy. Plus he'll be the main money guy in every North American wrestling promotion except WWE.
EC3, I have no clue because I kind of fell out of TNA about 4 years ago but from what I hear, he seemed to be an integral part of the promotion and was a major player. Most WWE fans don't know about Derrick Bateman or his TNA character so it would have to be a complete rebuild for him.

Anyone saying EC3 is trash or can’t wrestle is a bozo that haven’t watched him since he had those chopper American flag pants on in NXT. Dude is nice and would be good for Smackdown. Throw him in the US title rankings and eat.

Lashley can't sign til Feb 1st
If pushed right, Lashley could be a big draw for the E. Get him a mouthpiece and build him up towards a program against Lesnar.
They won't do this though. Not even if it was black history month and MLK resurrected and said his only wish was to watch a WWE show.
EC3 was good in TNA, and he can wrestle. But they have alot of similar guys, he'll never get to stand out. He can go to ROH and wrestle Cawdy in a CAW vs CAW match.

if i was vince i'd def bring lashley back and push a few guys back down to nxt.

Ec3 is essentially a poor man's version of the Miz in 2018 & this is coming from someone who liked his work in TNA.

WWE can't push more than one person at the same time and writing team hasn't been able to do shyt with all the talent they already have, and EC3 would be relegated to Fashion Police segments if he were on the main roster. If EC3 were to resign with them, his best bet would be NXT.
They would feed Lashley to Cena.
