But that's my point. If they have Snoop in the movie..which at the time of the NWA would've been a cameo, where's DOC..who should definitely be a major part in the movie, Warren G, Da Lench Mob (it is Cube's movie after all)? Also, Bone Thugs would have to be included since they were huge at the time of Eazy's death. All of these spinoff's of NWA came in virtually at the same time...so either they won't cover the breakup at all, which is absurd, or they are gonna focus mainly on Dre.

DOC is in the movie as far as I know. Warren G and all them may be there too but there more of a reason to have Snoop in there above everyone else or at least there's a reason to report about him being in the movie. He's the biggest name out of all of those acts. Are you really going to get known actors to play Da Lench Mob? What reason would they have to be in the movie? If they go into the break up and quickly run through some of the disses then they will show No Vaseline bit Lench Mob aren't on the song, they didn't produce it. They have no bearing on NWA or really Cubes career outside of NWA. But Snoop has a role in one of the most popular diss songs of all time and it was a BIG thing when Dre left so they should focus on it a little bit. That put the nail in the coffin and it was Suge and DOC who really stepped to Dre about leaving so it seems perfectly fine to have a little bit more in there with Snoop dissing Ruthless and less of Bone Thugs or Warren G.

Short Term 12 was one of the best movies last year and this kid played a major part in it.

Giamatti is one of the most versatile actors out, looking forward

I had to trick people into watching Short Term 12. But afterwards, they profusely thanked me. They even went back and watched it again. I think it's funny how people will continually be disappointed by big budget movies that use the same cliches, simple plot lines, and tropes over and over, but yet...they refuse to watch an indie flick that might be 80 mins or so.

Same goes for 'The Secret in Their Eyes', 'The Skin I Live In', 'A Single Man', and 'Upstream Color'. Indie movies are where its at. People always say to me, 'dude, where did these movies come from?' And I just say to them, 'You heard about it, but you're blind to advertising and turn them away just because they don't have famous people in it. But you'll watch Vince Vaughn movies each time they come to theaters and complain about wasting your money.'

Yeah, I'm sure a mature older Ice Cube really still has animosity towards a dude who died a long time ago

this must be your first time seeing a NWA related thread because i stated this numerous times.

think about what you saying breh. Eazy (R.I.P.) & Jerry Heller had alot to do with the ruthless records dissension.
Also why else would Cube allow his son to have a role in the film, who has no acting scruples and yet dont allow lil eazy
but cube excuse is he is "looking for season actors" yet like i stated his son. (nepotism imo)

Also Cube having animosity towards emcees isnt anything new the Kam Vs Cube beef was in the 90's and neither one of them fool with each other. Same for certain members in the Lench Mob.

I'm not really wild over indie films (A Single Man is the only one I've heard of from that) but I'm damn sure it wouldn't have cost a lot for a studio to distribute it. They would've definitely made paper.
