I'm gonna have to cosign @kingdarius Angel doesn't fall off at all. Some weak moments here and there but each season ramps it up half way through and end on a high note.

IMO Jasmine has to be one of the most underrated villains in the series. I remember having a pretty good discussion with
@hexagram23 on whether Jasmine was really evil or not.

I love Firefly (and Serenity too) and still am pissed at Fox for fukking it up.
To me it is the best thing Joss Whedon has ever done and I put above Buffy and Angel because it was so brief that it never had the chance to fall off like those shows did.

It rebounded in the final season but the quality dipped that season with pregnant demon Cordelia.

hell tf no it didnt....that season had the most fukkery and it questioned morality perfectly

I thought the season started off well but it lost its way by the time it revealed Cordy was evil and she started boning Connor. And by the time Jasmine showed up it was just not that good.
The show got better again when the crew took over Wolfram & Hart but that prior season was mediocre.

I liked Jasmine as a villain (plus Gina Torres is a favorite of mine) but I thought the show just didn't use the character well at all.

Just rewatched the first season, damn shame this show didn’t continue. shyt was great man... they need to remake it or do an extension or something.

Even if they did remake it, its hard to redo this cast and crew. Show was amazing...

I don't see how they could remake Firefly without that cast of actors.
Of all Whedon's shows the one most ripe (and easiest) to remake is Buffy because all of those characters were established archetypes that could be played by new actors pretty easily.

But maybe they could bring back River, Christina Hendricks, Inara, Mal, maybe Zoe every once in ahwile, etc. Like have some of the old members come around for special episodes. Maybe Wash got Zoe pregnant before he died and they have a kid that joins Mals/Inaras kid..

Whedon has some sort of deal with WB that has him doing a new show on HBO. If he were to do a Firefly Universe show for HBO too that would be flames.

And The Rookie is my show. I binged the first half of the season on Hulu and I got hooked. Set the DVR to record it every week.

Too bad the black actress who played the lead character's T.O. quit the show though. I liked her a lot.
