I've always had a little dandruff until a few months ago I woke up and was like "why the fukk am I not treating my hair/scalp better?"
Looked up shyt. Took away tips:
- Don't wash hair often
- Shampoo like once a week
- Use conditioner and moisturizer.
So I bought all natural products made for black people like
(Shea Moisture Curly Hair Product Bundle Shampoo 16 Fl Oz, Conditioner 13 Fl Oz, Leave in Conditioner 15 Oz, Jamaican Black Castor Oil for Healthy Hair Growth, Strengthen & Restore, Sulfate Free)
But I still have mad dandruff weeks later. In fact, I think it's even worse
What I do:
- Use 1x leave-in conditioner every day either in the morning or at night (Used it less before but started to use it more when I saw dandruff wasn't going away, doesn't seem to have helped)
- Use coconut oil as a moisturizer in hair every morning or at night
- Wash with conditioner every 2-3 days
- Wash with shampoo once a week
Other than that I don't touch/brush/rinse my hair at all. Not sure what i'm doing wrong exactly.
