The book it's based on is one of the BIG classic "white dude stumbles his way through a foreign culture trying to survive"





The book is actually very good though, hopefully the creators are smart enough to adapt it in a good way. The white man was essentially a plot device for the reader to learn about this era in Japan. Once the Japanese government collapses and the end of the Sengoku period arrives is when things get really interesting though

All that rich history if Samurai....they single handedly try find whatever they can to insert a white man/woman into it. Disgusting.....
