He was pro drug from the start, so I guess people are disappointed in his choice of drugs in the final years of his life? I had the Sex Packets album when it came out, they were promoting drug use. If he doesn't come with the "Humpty Hump" character who knows if the industry would have really let him in?
Does the whole "Sex Packets" concept predate the popularity of MDMA? I was a kid I thought it was something he was making up. I'm surprised there hasn't been a deep dive into that, hip-hop wasn't messing with ecstasy until the mid 90's.
