Shingeki no Kyojin: Attack on Titan

I'd say they are even. The show had us in a drought for a few years with that long hiatus, so I picked up the manga at that point (after season 1).

The show compliments the manga really nicely, awesome adaptation

shyt it enjoyable to read and still enjoyable to watch

Its give or take. They're both better than they have any right to be... the manga is just ugly sometimes (it grows on you, ngl) but its well written as fukk - nobody can doubt that now.

The show, while good, focuses on some WEIRD shyt at times. The Ymir/Christa arc had some weird areas, the faceless titan was just poorly done and changed up for a trash reason, they're worse in general at explaining stuff, and there's just a lot of moments that simply don't hit like they should. Most of it is because they go for spectacle in their storyboarding for the show instead of the big picture. Stuff just doesn't land right.

The best season was season 1 the female titan was the best shyt the show ever did

in one of the most bleak, fukked up worlds in fiction - reiner manages to suffer the most out of everyone still alive by far

its actually staggering when you think about it. every single moment is a lose/lose situation

Eren's not dead yet

Theories:

1)He already touched Zeke and altered some memories. Piek retransformed and got the rifle back on that quick/off screen? Gabi no scoped eren with an anti tank rifle?

Galliard bit his legs off before the fight started. when he got out his titan this chapter he was fully clothed. Might be the only obvious tell or maybe a moment of forgetfulness on isayama's part.

2)Or, were about to get eren in the paths dimension and really get into the lore that way. There are plenty of mindless titans around for "ymir" to send to regenerate him.

3)Least favorite theory is eren transferring his consciousness and the corp retrieves he and Zeke somehow.
