Was watching the last Pivot pod where it was just general discussion and no interview and Ryan Clark was politely trying to say nikkas were getting insufferable with the talk. Shilo been in a power 5 conference before, nothing wrong with being confident and believing you can win but he should know what they have in that lockerroom isn't enough to talk like that.

SWAC coaches had the same attitude towards Deion, and people said they were crabs in a barrel. Maybe Deion just rubs people the wrong way.

Nah. Same thing happened at Colorado happened at Jackson State. Deion got there and the whole sports (and other) media world gravitated to him and the program.

If he was Deion Smith with the exact same quotes, no coach would care. People don't like that he's the man, they don't like his appeal, his ability to galvanize. But you're correct, it isn't just a white/black thing.

You probably didn’t follow them Jackson State season. A lot of those coaches were on some crab in the barrel mentality. Meaning, I don’t think Deion did anything to warrant the backlash there either.

it will be interesting to see how they finish, because the Pac is loaded this year. they might play 6 ranked teams
the Pac-12 is really loaded. Regardless, this is a clout chasing generation. Long as the Buffaloes can maybe go 7-5 and get a bowl game theyll be good with recruiting and can start to build.
