1 penny per doge vs 1 penny per shib are two COMPLETELY different things simply because of the supply. Shib burns coins but not nearly at a rate to make 1 penny per shib even remotely realistic.

Shib is deflationary. Its circulation will dwindle over time, the pace of it increasing as the coin’s developers refine the mechanism. Anyone saying, “well, dur, it can’t never reach a penny” is cap.
