- icecreameaterrrI look terrible because I've been crying but I think it should be known that I am apart of my High School's debate team and I've been working really hard on my political and social speeches since freshman year (reason why I stopped going to the city for a while). From attending political Summer School sessions at Stanford Uni. and Princeton Uni. to actually winning 13 debates overall, I've gained so much knowledge and experiences I'll forever hold close to my little heart. I don't have many awards or titles to my name but I worked my hardest. In my hands I hold 11 Best Speaker Awards, two of which I recently won this weekend at my very last JSA convention as a Senior in HighSchool. I surpassed my personal goal of winning 10 awards. I dedicate my last award to one of my teachers who passed away this year. She encouraged me to debate and the very first speech I did, I won best speaker. I have gained an everlasting amount of confidence and a reputation that will forever be my own and no one else's. I walk away with all these freaking gavels and as the Director of Debate at my High School. It's been real JSA. I love you guys forever.
