Yung Wow Puts Ink to Paper, Signs Deal with Coli Records
March 21st, 2014
We knew that free agent sensation, Yung Wow wouldn't stay unsigned for too long. And the lucky label that snatchd the rising star is none other than Coli Records.
Instagram picture posted by Coli Records CEO, Dahell, shwoing Yung Wow signing his new contract.
It didn't come as a shock seeing Yung Wow's latest hit was "My Money Long (Coli Remix)" which featured future label boss, Dahell and future labelmate, Lil' Why.
When asked to comment on his recent signing, Yun Wow said:" I'm happy to be in an environment where I can flourish and develop my talents". "Be on the lookout for my debut album on Coli Records, it doesn't have a name yet but it's gone be for the streets, people struggling to make ends meet and the everyday man", added Yung Wow who is also known for his other smash hits : "Woke Up In A New Ferrari", "Pure Gold Chains" & "Never Ending Dough".
Dahell, on his side, responded to our questions by saying: " We're lucky and blessed to be able to add such a talented young brother to our always expanding family. We feel Yung Wow can represent perfectly the struggle and plight of the projects and people working hard to make it. That has always been the philisophy of Coli Records: making banging and thoughtful music that people can relate to." He went on to rant about his jewelry, money and fame : "See my neck? That's pure gold my ni**a. 24K? We off that. that s**t is certified 48K straight from Angola. Who got hotter jewelry than me? Who got more dough? More bi**es? Nobody. Coli Records we doing it big now, we the top dogs of this rap s**t. We got a group album coming soon that's gone change the game. We got songs for the ballers, the strippers, the hitters, the dope dealers and all that".
Finally, Lil' Why, the other signee of Coli Records commented on the news by saying: "Coli Records we doing it majorly, You heard? We the next ones to dominate this rap s**t, nahmsayin? We're bringing that grimy, straight goon political strip club anthem trap music to the front, nahmean? Expect my debut album soon, it's gone be the hottest project in a minute, I've already done features with my main man Dahell, Yung Wow, Busta Rhymes..etc Even got Bobby Brown kicking thug melodies in that s**t. Go cop that when it drops".
Here's hoping that their future collaborations match the success, if not exceed, of My Money Long :
