I kinda enjoyed Sheamus as a heel when he started out
But this current version of Sheamus is awful, whoever created this gimmicky 1-800-Fella with lame ass jokes should be in the . Bring him back as a monster heel again with that no fukks given attitude and I'm all for it. I wouldn't wish any injury on any of these dudes but if this kills this character off it's worthy of a celebration

The face run has worked though. His profile is much bigger than it ever was when he was a heel. He's over with every non-smark crowd. His merch moves and he got his finisher over. Wrestling fans would like if the entire roster was nothing but heels, but the babyface run has worked out very well for Sheamus.
