I admit the hostility is a bit, but he it falls on him. It would help if he didn't say speaking about something that's important to us as "divisive" when he wouldn't dare say that to DACA or the LGBTQ community. Also, when we ask him challenging questions about us it wouldn't hurt if he stops this "rising tides lifting all boats" schitck hat has never benefitted us and stop getting visibly upset or irritated when we press him about our issues.

Nina Turner or Cornell West are missing an opportunity to point these problems to him that are easy to fix.

Just my two cents.

This sounds like a 2016 critique. He hasn’t been resistant to race questions at all. He is just a curmudgeon dude. What you’re seeing is that Liz is just a lifelong teacher and is better than him in this forum. His policies are very similar but he cannot pull them out of his head like her. This literally a skill set thing. This is why Warren was one of the most effective Obama administration officials. She was one of the few communicators.

My fav here is Tulsi, but I will admit she did not do too well.
Her platform is foreign policy, which is why I support her. But she doesn't market herself well on other topics.

She is still the most important candidate for this election.

There's multiple examples of him being tone deaf this year alone and it's only April...

Even as Sanders supporters we have to admit besides being weak on foreign policy, he's also week on racial issues.

If you are an immigrant you should look at that movement as a joke.

I'm not an immigrant and I'm ADOS and damn proud of it. I'm not going to be ashamed of being a Black American and my ancestors who built this country. :yeshrug:

Why must anything associated with Black Americans be a "joke" when we're the reasons why immigrants have the Civil Rights that they do? :mjpls:

An immigrant who is proud of ADOS is like a slave talking about state rights.

1st generation American. I think the movement is necessary.

An immigrant who is proud of ADOS is like a slave talking about state rights.

In no reality is that the same thing in any shape, way, or form.

However, I don't want to derail the thread with ADOS talk. There's a whole thread for that. https://www.thecoli.com/threads/ados-american-descendants-of-slavery.695653/
