If a woman gets pregnant, it is solely her choice to decide whether she wants to keep it or not regardless of what the man says.
Even if she knew he didn't want any kids, he used protection, and she still got pregnant, he still has no say. She will have the baby and he most likely will have to pay child support.
However, if he wants to have the baby and she wants an abortion, he still has no say and she can have the abortion. In fact, she doesn't have to tell him anything at all.
I've heard all of the arguments: It's her body, her choice..... He consented as soon as he had sex with her to all of the upcoming consequences.. blah blah blah
The fact remains is that she still has a choice and he doesn't. If she gets pregnant, she still gets to decide while his fate remains in her hands.
She'll say that it is what it is.
But whenever you mention making abortions illegal, women are up at arms. Why? Because you are taking away their choice, the same way you took away dude's choice. I'm saying that if the government makes abortion illegal, there is no more discussion. Everybody knows the risks and the protocol. Why would anybody have a problem with that?
I'm a pro-choice kinda dude, but this seems like the only fair option.
