I watched the match and from what I remember, NONE OF IT WAS SHAWN'S FAULT.
HHH tore his titty off the bone. Taker and Kane are two broken down giants and were barely in shape.
Shawn could still hit all his moves and fly through the air no problem. Shawn said for his little return with Austin and Foley that he knows what's expected of him and he puts all the pressure on himself to make sure he's in perfect shape to do whatever it is he needs to do.
Too bad Taker, Kane and Trips didn't/couldn't do the same.

Agreed 100%, I think with 8/1 having just passed got me thinking of the dead silence plus Mr. Kenderson’s reactions
But Brian Christopher’s is worse cause 1) zero pop, 2) he came out to the wack Too Cool theme, 3) he wasn’t in his Grandmaster Sexay attire, 4) decided instead to dress like he’s going to a country bar and with bleached spikey hair, 5) the awkward dancing, 6) it really felt that King despised him being a failure

They had the right amount to pull HBK out of retirement and couldn't even ask for the right match
HBK still looked pretty sharp out there too, him and Styles would've torn the house down
