I got you breh. This is my famous Cajun Shrimp Pasta.
Ingredients:
1 pack Angel Hair pasta
1 bag small shrimp (41-60 pcs)
1 pack Hillshire Farm Hot Sausage
24oz marinara sauce
Tony Cachere Cajun Seasoning
Garlic powder
Cayenne pepper
Parsley flakes
*Parmesan cheese
Crushed red pepper
Olive Oil
Prep:
Cut sausage into cubes, cook until done
Add thawed shrimp into pan with done sausage and cook until done
Add marinara sauce and season to taste. Sprinkle parmesan cheese to thicken sauce
Turn heat to low
Add pasta to boiling water and cook for approximately 8 minutes
Serve:
Drain pasta and serve on plate with sauce on top
***May be served with garlic bread and salad with Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette
For dessert I like something really simple; cake topped with whipped cream and strawberry compote.
The cake is my mom's recipe and I don't have that right now but the whipped cream and compote is so basic if you use store bought, but it's just as easy to make it yourself. Just get some half n half, and whip it in a big bowl until its fluffy. For the compote, grab some 's and put them in a pot with a little water *if frozen you don't need to add any water*, add some sugar or and boil it until the fruit has broken down a lot. It's really depends on how you like yours.
