Something about the Sp on Acoustic instruments thats just , I tried using vst to bring down the sample rate, but it doesn't sound the same....


Did you peep my thread, someone modeled a bunch of free vst emulations of some vintage jawns, they don't sound too bad either

That's one of those pieces that look attractive but i'm used to a computer so i won't probably use it much.
I would love to own another MV-8800 again. Just for fun. Not cause it's very useful to me.

Me too but paying 3x the price of the MV for the MV8-OP1 is not happening. The MV was so ahead of it's time but since the current CEO cares nothing about sampling, it's all about DJ controllers and "synths."

Outside of wanting another 8 input card for my Paris setup, I'm actually good on gear. I still catch myself looking at MPC4000s and ASQ-10s tho. Might cop an ASR-10 rack if I can find one for the right price.

Affordable wish list: Casio RZ-1, Linndrum, DMX, MPC60, JP8080, Blofeld, MS2000B, Supernova2, Emax/Emulator, Had a chance to get a prophet 2002 kind of regret not getting it. And a shyt load of scsi readers.

Not in this lifetime: TX816, SP1200 (way too much$$$) , 808/909 (overrated and $$$), Studio 440 (would need to hear it live), LM-1,

Paid $900cad for a mint 8800, full ram, mv8 op1, DIF-AT24 interface, original box/manual/cd, mouse and monitor. and he threw in a work desk for free.

I had to ask this guy if he knew what he was doing. He said yeah he knew.
