Well listen I understand what he means..

I had arguments with dudes on SOHH about this years ago. I said Tim Duncan wasn't a Power Forward and it was 9 pages of pure back and forth..

People tryin to tell me this dude was a PF when he played and looked liked a C. I mean the reason he played PF was the Spurs still had David Robinson and they wanted to play them both at the same time..

The other reason is in my opinion is Tim wanted NO PARTS of Shaq back then.. Shaq would of bodied him if Tim had to D up Shaq all game so I always thought Tim was on some scared sucker shyt with this PF nonsense..

Shaq knows this and he is throwin a bliminal at that nikka Tim :mjlol:

Shaq is like you never wanted to see me in the low blocks so miss me with that big man shyt nikka :sas1:

He swept the nikka out the Forum in his second season but he wanted no parts of him? :dead:.

He played PF not PG, he still had plenty of interaction with Shaq on both ends and gave him that work on the regular.

And Shaq swept they asses in 99 and in 2001 if I'm not mistaken :sas2:

It was the series where the Lakers massacred the Spurs and had Timmay lookin like he saw a ghost on the bench when Pop yanked him in extensive garbauge time..

I forgot witch year that was but that series alone made up for all the sweeps Shaq had to endure :martin:

And it was poor David Robinson that had to take the bulk of the punishment as he was playin C back then not Timmay

You are :heh: 1999 is when Duncan swept Shaq with Kobe and Rice by his side. Shaq had Kobe for all of those series. Tim had Derek "The Answer for Kobe:laff:" Anderson. Either way none of that demonstrates how Duncan was too shook to deal with Shaq. Shaq wasn't having any of those 35 and 17 series against SA. As a matter of fact he had some of his worst shooting series against them. Kobe was always the difference against SA. If the Spurs have a Kobe level player, Shaq is Ewing status right now.

And Duncan was hurt and missed the playoffs. And they didn't murder everybody, they damn near blew a 3-1 lead in the WCF. 2001 is when they murdered everybody. Still nothing you have mentioned is showing me how Duncan was shook and avoiding Shaq.

And you said 99 too and that was wrong regardless of which 99 you were referencing. What star guards another star for 48 minutes? shyt who plays 48 minutes? Shaq damn sure wasn't guarding Tim for the whole game either. Tim's got a 3-3 record in the playoffs against Shaq and that's with Shaq having Kobe, Rice, Payton, Malone, Amare, and Nash. He would be 6-0 if he wasn't shook right? :comeon:.

Bottom Line is everybody ran with the stupid ass greatest power forward ever shyt when he only played it cause the Admiral was still there and because he didnt want to take that beating from Shaq.. That's my opinion.. He didnt want to deal with the punishment playin center.

You are entitled to your opinion. My only question is how can you maintain such an opinion after all the work Duncan gave him? It's not like Duncan was camped out on the perimeter on some Bosh shyt. He was in the paint banging and anchoring his team on both ends. What punishment did he avoid?

Here you go not knowing what the fukk you talking about :francis:

Tim guarded Shaq often and quite a bit. Shaq would abuse David Robinson at times and Tim would check Shaq.

In fact Tim guarded Shaq a hell of a lot more than Shaq guarded Timmy:comeon:
