Nobody knows what really contributes to cancer… Shannon didn’t drink so what caused his prostate cancer?
I don’t know about his prostate, but I do know alcohol doesn’t increase health outcomes. The man is talking about his prostate cancer diagnosis while Ocho is lighting up a mondo cigar lol.Nobody knows what really contributes to cancer… Shannon didn’t drink so what caused his prostate cancer?

I just want to see folks avoid needless suffering, especially us black men that have some of the lowest life expectancy in the US.
Yea aka being richHe started getting screened for cancer in his 30s because of his family history, so they caught it early![]()
You gonna have to elaborate on that one?I’m sorry but you come off like a huge p*ssy and I say that in all sincerity
Like you come really phony about it too
Everything can contribute to eat. It doesn't have to be either/or. If we live long enough the chances of cancer appearing increases. What we consume and hereditary speeds it upYea aka being rich
Science has conflicting views on cancer being hereditary, some say it's our environment and foods
Brother had prostate cancer and he promotes alcohol on his show smh
An article dated September 2018 on Alcohol and Cancer Risk by the National Cancer Institute found that "for cancers of the ovary, prostate, stomach, uterus, and bladder, either no association with alcohol use has been found or the evidence for an association is inconsistent." A more recent study published in June 2019 in the Journal of Clinical Oncology on Alcohol Intake and Risk of Lethal Prostate Cancer found that drinking alcohol may be a risk reducer for prostate cancer. Comparing cancer-free alcohol users and non-users, the study found that the risk of prostate cancer was lower in drinkers than in non-drinkers. And for men who already were suffering from prostate cancer, moderate use of red wine helped slow the progression of the disease. The researchers hailed from these institutions: Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston, MA; Brigham Women's Hospital in Boston; Harvard Medical School in Boston; and University of California in San Francisco, CA.
You gonna have to elaborate on that one?
Dudes is in saying alcohol don’t lead to cancer and Shannon doesn’t drink. Mfer is this the twilight zone![]()
Alcohol most likely is not a cause of cancer, but is a factor in other types of cancer.![]()
Prostate Cancer and Alcohol: What We Need to Know
While alcohol consumption hasn't been directly related to prostate cancer, there are things you should be aware of regarding prostate cancer and alcohol.www.compassoncology.com
Alcohol most likely is not a cause of cancer, but is a factor in other types of cancer.
Shannon was sharing his story in hopes of spreading health awareness, but the mfer sells booze. That isn’t some hypocritical shyt to anyone?
You're misunderstanding my initial post. You’re one of those people who don’t understand probability
While yes, you could absolutely make the arguement that alcohol leads to cancer, but compared to other factors its probably not the high when considering the various cancers that exist especially ones prostate
The fake concern is not needed
I would’ve respected Sharpe if he said, “yea I’m trying to give yall a psa to get med checkups every year, even though I still like to drink my cognac every now and then”. But he didn’t look out for his audience. How is it hypocritical?
You can drink safely in moderation. Promoting alcohol isn't promoting being an alcoholic or an unhealthy lifestyle.
You no nuance having, looking at the world in black and white and follow the rules lame..I would’ve respected Sharpe if he said, “yea I’m trying to give yall a psa to get med checkups every year, even though I still like to drink my cognac every now and then”. But he didn’t look out for his audience.
Everyone is full of shyt, at least acknowledge it.

Sit your inflamed ass down. I know plenty of people who lost it all drinking alcohol. You want to avoid the fact that alcohol is not healthy that’s on you.You no nuance having, looking at the world in black and white and follow the rules lame..
It's his story to tell. He is allowed to tell it and him owning an alcohol brand doesn't mean he can't tell his story or has to put some dumb ass disclaimer on it. Grow up. Lame ass.
