They def won't be agreeing with each other when the NBA starts though.
I think SAS feels like he can't say too much against a former NFL player (let alone a HOF one) cuz he stay hittin Shay with the "you'd know more than me being a former player of course". It's like it's a mixture of respect, admiration, and insecurity cuz he stay bringin up how big he is too
it's funny because it's seemed like ESPN's people have made it a point to call out how well First Take is doing compared to Undisputed for several months now...even before Shannon began.
it was always a competition ever since Skip left ESPN, but First Take has put the ratings promotion into overdrive since earlier this year when Stephen A. and Skip were going back n forth on their podcasts and interviews.

I’d feature him more. NBA season is where he can really come alive on set because his affiliations different.
NBA mainstream television discourse is more about entertainment than it is the Xs and Os.

Naaa...i would imagine Shannon will be involved during NBA season. He always talks NBA, he's a Bron stan x100 and got that lil' history with the Grizzlies.
