Can't sleep on Maidana though. I thought he would be a great test for Broner and he wrecked his shyt

Maidana also had Ortiz ass quitting in the middle of the fight, which began his self-destruction

Maidana practiced for Broner though. Floyd saw what Maidana was doing but Broner didn't. Maidana was faking that right hook to the body and straight going up top with that shyt while Broner was trying to use both hands to check the body shot.

I don't think it will be as one sided as the Canelo fight
Maidana got his ass whooped by Alexander and Corpse Morales.........................Nothing else needs to be said

hes a whole new fighter under garcia though :troll:

Agreed, he has become a better fighter under Garcia. Thing is, Marcos doesn't really have the attributes to trouble Floyd. While, I don't know what those attributes would be, even if they existed, but we've seen this fight with Marcos before in the form of others against Floyd. I also think it is folly for Garcia to not have Marcos watch film of Floyd before this fight, instead, it's blockbuster night and they are watching Rocky. It probably doesn't make sense anyways since Floyd is a patternless fighter but still, to get an idea of what to look for, to know the task of what you will be up against. Remember, for years, Roach would scream that Floyd lost his legs, in both fights last year, he was darting in and out of trouble with relative ease. Your trainer can only tell you so much and he isn't going to be in the ring with you. He's going to be rendered helpless before the fourth round. You will know that the fight is over when Floyd is standing in front of him for at least ten seconds, hands down and Marcos doesn't throw back because he is tired of getting hit.

I'm a stan of Floyd as he is my favorite athlete of all time by far but I don't really think I, nor others embellish too much on his achievements as he is really that great. He's not Superman, he is human but he's rendered so many other boxer's attempts as futile that I honestly can't conceive of a way that this would be any different until I see it before my eyes.

Maidana doesn't have to actually beat Floyd, he just has to make it a ugly fight (ex. De la hoya ) and he has a chance to win....You Never Know with these judges, it's been a couple of Floyd fights where the scorecard was no where near what we thought it should be

I want y'all to peep what he's saying though, about when Canelo and his camp thought that he was just going to be able to walk Floyd down and punch him. Shane was like, nope, that's not about to happen. That is what Marcos Maidana thinks he's going to do, just throw 100 punches a round. All that shyt is going to get stop FIRST ROUND. He's slower than Canelo, not as good a boxer as Canelo, PBF is going to wreck shyt in May.

Another sparring partner that simply says that if you think are just going to put your chest into Floyd, you got another thing coming.
