I hung out with Shane in 95/96 (before he was on TV). My dad knew him personally.

Pop's company was a corporate sponsor of WWF and Shane was heavily involved with the behind the scenes stuff at the time.

Simba is the homie. I remember him being a super cool guy. So glad he's back

:banderas: This was the moment when I knew Shane was legit. He could have just been average and coasted on a good storyline with the son of the rich owner taking charge, but he brought extra heat on the mic. Anybody notice how well he slickly be no selling other wrestler's threats, he says his shyt with conviction real nonchalantly without smiling or trying too hard too either. :mjcry: I really didn't know Shane O had an almost cult following like this, thought I was the only one that rocked with Shane back in the day.

Do yall listen to these wrestling podcasts like cheap heat or LAW? I was listening to LAW and they think its a terrible idea to have him face taker and cheap heat did really like the rock return promo....

Do these nikkas actually like wrestling or is this just a job to them? I don't understand how you could have been watching all these months waiting for something exciting to happen and when it does you complain and find negatives about it... Which one of you coli posters run these podcastS?

I mean this dude said he aint like the idea of that match cause the locker room should be mad they aint get that spot....

Then in the next sentence say the audience and the locker room were excited about this:youngsabo: like how are you mad for someone that isn't mad their self? he is the typical neckbeard fan that I cant stand:camby: .. I'm tired of these fake critics, they don't understand what people actually want to see

haven't listened but i can see why they wouldn't like shane/taker.. I'm personally really into it but it's kind of a ridiculous match if you look at it objectively

its mania, it creates excitement, interest, it grabs the attention of the people like me who was looking at the mania card and the list of possible taker opponnets like :russell:.. now im like:ahh:at the opportunity to see someone other than hhh and steph playing heel authority figures... that's all that matters to me..

and lets be real when has the taker match ever built anyone, other than brock who really didn't need that push? HHH twice No
HBK twice no
Bray no
Punk ehh an argument can be made

that match is a special casual fan attraction match not a put the new guy over match...
these dudes take this shyt and theirselves too seriously, it annoying they have a platform to spew their bias everyweek.... but whatever what do I know

I agree.. these podcast dudes have a singular way of looking at things. if it isn't taker against some new guy from the indies then it isn't acceptable

this match is probably mania's biggest selling point at this point
