Hmm still gotta give til next season, but I'm not getting the Nick Foles vibe from him. He is looking like a long timer and not a one hit wonder. But only a full season will prove that.

I thought he was a sleeper pick in the draft but he's taking what the defense gives him. Taking some risks but dumping off when he needs to. Don't get me wrong he can have a bad game but so far he has played very well. Even if he gets 'figured out' he is at worst an excellent 2nd QB spot starter. Just glad Lynch drafted him and I hope he stays a 9er as long as we can keep him.

I also hope we keep Trey.

Purdy is a cocky b*stard. In a good way. Arm strength is a concern but, WCO was never a air out offense. He can make the intermediate throws all day. Deep ball off the play action helps me because defense thinks run. The way the offense is designed, if you are efficient you'll never be complete trash.

I really don't like how Trey was handled. IMO I think Trey can run this same offense better than Purdy. Problem is will Kyle still treat him like he is friggin Lamar Jackson.
