This show is going the same route as Californication, Dexter, Nurse Jackie and Homeland. All of these shyts stayed on like 2 years too long.

Shameless is in a pretty rare company of shows to go on this long and not have an obvious fall off season. That being said, this opening episode was kinda light. Super trailer looked good though so we'll see. Although I liked the humor in old Liam really not saying much because he probably wasn't fully trained, new Liam seems to be a good fit and should be able to handle a more complex plot.
