The good guy frank angle is funny but this is the first season I do not like
I'm like 3 episodes behind, but it's weird seeing the gallagher family when you don't have anyone being a raging alcoholic between frank and lip.

I love this season. Shameless already got renewed for season 9. I wouldn't mind if it went 11 seasons. It's still one of the best shows on TV. I'll be depressed as hell when it ends.
I skipped the last 2 seasons pretty much because of how repetitive it got but I have enjoyed this season so far. But they still need a big shakeup. Either one of the kids actually become successful, moves out the hood and just experience life outside of the family (should have been Lip since he was the smartest)or someone in the main cast has to die do to them messing up one too many times.
Just wait breh this is still shamelessI'm like 3 episodes behind, but it's weird seeing the gallagher family when you don't have anyone being a raging alcoholic between frank and lip.
that's the thing though they don't need to move out the hood. because of gentrification, they need to be successful to STAY in the hoodI skipped the last 2 seasons pretty much because of how repetitive it got but I have enjoyed this season so far. I didn't say "they", I said "one" of the main characters needs to move out of there, open up Chicago a little bit. Gentrification isn't going to automatically move Lip from the bike shop to a corporate job like I thought they were going a few seasons ago when he was in college. There's been like 4 addiction stories already in this show. Frank, Fiona, Fiona's fiance, their mother, now Lip. We didn't need Lip's storyline this year was trying to keep all his sponsors sober while fighting it himself. We've seen this before. Put Lip uptown.that's the thing though they don't need to move out the hood. because of gentrification, they need to be successful to STAY in the hood
i didn't say gentrification would make anyone go from the bike shop to a corporate gig. you said one of them needs to become successful and move. but their neighborhood is becoming one of those that successful people move to. the writers can show progress in one of the characters while living in the same neighborhood. in fact they are already doing that with fiona. she owns a damn apartment building now. that's a huge leap for her, almost unbelievable.I didn't say "they", I said "one" of the main characters needs to move out of there, open up Chicago a little bit. I wish the writers would pull the trigger on this Fiona/Nessa thing already. We all know it’s coming
Man the rate at which Lip manages to trip and fall into p*ssy rivals Hank Moody at this point
