I'm sorry and you guys can try to throw out all the rationalizations you want but this season is a mess with the way they have taken Fiona from the most responsible member of tis family to an irresponsible, self-destructive, weak willed cokehead alcoholic without ever giving any build up to why she would take this drastic of a turn. If they had let her find out Jimmy was dead or shown that Jimmy leaving her broke her down more then this would feel more organic but instead it feels like the writers got together and decided "Hey! Wouldn't it be cool if Fiona turned into Frank?" without any of the necessary build up to get her to this point.

Frank along with Fiona have left drugs out and last season Fiona took the money for the rent and used it to promote a party which Lip was mad about as well. Last season that worked out but this time it did not and she has to deal with those actions. Her acting like this is totally in character. Ian actions are out of character so far.

u saw fiona literally try to run away from her demons a couple of seasons ago. get back into training. get back into having a life. but at the end of the day she ended up in the same house. doing the same shyt.
at the time, it looked like it was because she had to step up and take care of the kids. but what if it's actually because that's all she deems herself capable of?
bottom line: the only difference between fiona this season, and fiona in other seasons, is that this season she's paying the piper. they literally threw the exact same party last season. just sub out the coke for weed, or whatever the drug of the night was.
it's like dude only pays attention to the components of the character he likes. fiona been a risk taker. with occasionally questionable morals.
