Lip is just an ungrateful, entitled piece of shyt, just like Frank.I been pretty quiet this season but here is what I see....
I said last season that Fiona is an extremely selfish person and has no real business being the guardian of those kids. She was arguably better off getting those kids in foster care (Debbie being the exception). Fiona is an extremely self destructive person. Much like her mother and father. If not for her good fortune, she would be in front of the alibi tricking for 40 bucks a turn. She has made a string of bad decisions and those are decisions she should not be making as a LEGAL GUARDIAN. She had a very good job and she was on track to move up in the company, she had a lame, but good hearted boyfriend who saw her self destructive tendencies and ignored them. Not only that but he put her out there doing pretty important company business and she threw it all away to get freaky with his burnout coked out drunkie brother. When he dropped off that cocaine she should have just flushed it instead she throws a party with children in the house to get turnt up. So her BABY BROTHER gets in the stash, and while she did feel guilty she is so obsessed with the idea of her being innocent at heart she is willing to take a nickel in prison (she would have been found guilty no questions asked) instead of doing a 30-90 day bid. She gets off super easy, with just 3 years of probation and she has the nerve to be sad about it, this was the best case scenario. Lip was right in beating her down, she needed some sense slapped into her. I understand the sacrifices she has made in the past but she could have easily killed Liam, and she may have stunted the kids development (not that he seemed too bright anyway).
Lip has grown the most this season. I understand he is an entitled genius. But he is learning that just being smart won't get you through college, that you have to work hard and show effort and initiative. The thing that also helps him is that he has some distance from his ex-girlfriends, even though Mandy was cool as hell and helped him get into college. He does need to watch himself, stealing from the cafeteria is gonna get hi in trouble. Also he needs to try and not fukk his roomates GF. Not cool especially when said roomate has been nothing but a gentleman and has helped Lip in multiple situations. I do think he should be the leader of the house while Fiona gets her shyt together.
Something bad happened to Ian in the military (raped?) I think that's why he has been acting so bizarrely.
Mickey has grown into one of the most likable characters in the show. Dude has a heart.
Debbie needs to slow down, she has to not be so obsessed with having sex, she has 2 slut friends that aren't helping either, but I also think that it is from the fallout from her realizing Frank is a piece of shyt.
Carl is a goon in the making but I like his fire, he just needs better outlets to let out all that excess energy, he is an underrated character because behind it all he's just a typical 12 year old kid.
Franks Oldest is so easily manipulated by Frank, why she thought it made sense to get him drugs is beyond me.

I think she carries her cross in a sense like she does selfless things but for selfish reasons if it makes any sense and while you're right about everyone having it, she lost that right once she became legal guardian to the kids. While I agree with your gripes with Lip, he has grown up a lot this season, and is starting to figure out that his actions affect everyone, something that Fiona forgot. I couldn't believe she would even contemplate going to trial and risking putting herself behind bars for 5 years, and who would have to pick up the pieces, Lip. As for Fiona she is extremely self destructive, she is attracted to dangerous people, like Jimmy and her boyfriends coked out brother. She seemed to turn it around after getting her GED, but this whole coke situation is gonna be a wake up call.
We just gonna have to disagree. Fiona hasn't done one selfish act that I can recall. I mean she may be too naive to be from such trash. She immediately copped to the coke that was stupid as fukk. Yeah she wanted to take it trial okay and? The deal was like 90 days. Either way somebody else was gonna need to be responsible for the kids. Lip took it upon himself to do that. In all honesty he's doing more harm than good. What has Lip done to show any level of maturity? Smashing cars, treating Mandy & Fiona like shyt? Without them two his ungrateful ass wouldn't have even finished school, never mind college. Fiona has done dumbshyt but Lip ain't no better. And as far as Jimmy/Steve and her boss/boyfriend brother. What the hell makes them any worse than Frank or even Lips punk ass? At leat Jimmy/Steve was getting crazy paid to be a criminal. Frank and lip and the rest of the cast are just some brokeass criminals.
At how this bytch almost killed little Liam, on top of fukking up at every turn this season, and y'all see Lip as the bad guy for simply reasonably upset and saying some harsh words to her. ...

Yes. Lip isn't perfect but unlike Fiona, he's realized his fukk ups and started making an effort to improve his situation both with school and the family. He's been on point since the episode where Kevin and Mandy to told him to man up and not quit. Fiona has Dropped THE Ball on every level this season. And isn't making much effort to change the problem for the better. Judging from the preview she's just feeling sorry for herself and making even more shytty decisions.
