Rosenberg knew Papoose was coming out though. At the end of the day though if there was a legit problem then why not deal with it then? Why coat tail on a verse out of the blue?

It's not out of the blue...the nikka said he was King of NY...an NY rapper responded...that's how this hip hop thing is supposed to work...Kendrick knew what he was doin...the nikka still ain't said one word defending himself yet a bunch of people defending him for no reason..lol...let the man fight his own battles..he knew what he was doin..he knew the repercussions...he knew he would get a lot of attention..and he's most likely enjoying all of this shyt..lol..another thing I have a problem with is nikkas sayin that Kendrick did this shyt for "hip hop"..Kendrick did this shyt for himself...for attention...I do think this is good for hip hop if nikkas utilize it as motivation and make better music..with better rhymes...but do I think he made the verse for that purpose?..no..

Not to mention most people don't even care. DJ's and hip hop media will keep bringing it up because ain't shyt else to talk about. Papoose is in a no win situation. He doesn't have a national presence. Yeah he might be known but he's not known to where what he says carries any real weight. It took him like 8 years to drop 1 album that wasn't that good. The fact that he wasn't invited to do summer jam speaks volumes. He's a dope lyricist but he doesn't know how to make songs. He doesn't know how to create music for different types of fans. He has the same problem Canibus had only Canibus actually had that ONE shot to come into the game on the strength of a beef but he didn't blow up. Look at his wife Remi and her battle with Lady Luck. Luck can rap her as off but she sucks at making albums. Remi Ma knew how too and was on course to blow up before she went to jail. Papoose got his priorities twisted. He would rather make diss records, jump on hot beats and do freestyles and argue with hot 97 than make dope music. Hip Hop doesn't revolved around new york anymore and it hasn't for a long time.

Once he stops spitting punchlines he will be better.

He needs to only do about 3-5 solid punchlines and just keep spitting with other forms of poetry.

Uncle Murda, Pap etc are from New York. Most people probably never heard Kurupt say it so how could they reply? When New York New York was big there was a reply by Mobb Deep, CNN and Tragedy. Your right, Kendrick is famous right now and the song was big news so it was brought to everyones's attention. If a young person gets murdered in Chicago and it doesn't make the news most people aren't going to speak on it, if it's ALL over the news people will mention it, Trayvon hasn't been the only black male to be murdered, but it was everywhere so lots of people spoke on it more than some lower profile cases.
